Hold on a minute, I hear reports of bringing back a former player (who wanted to leave, but now wants to come back because we’re on the up)- the price would be aroun 14-mill- let him rot there. Peter Crouch for a reported 8-mill is a complete joke! Peter Crouch for anything more than 1.5-mill is still a bad deal (what’s he done- nothing @ villa & 14 goals in a season for Southampton as the main striker). If we want a 10 – 15 goal a season striker then get a former player back who didn’t want to leave (who was forced out) Robbie ‘GOD’ Fowler for 5-mill or even less.

i did tell u all that to have faith in Rafa and his signings as u can see 2nite it has worked. we never really needed a winger. we have garcia, kewell, gonzales, pennant, gerrard (even tho i would like to see him in the middle)

What do you mean we never really needed a winger? What the hell we were chasing Pennant & Gonzales for?

Gerrard goal was the best goal of the match. It was from 45 yards.I think gerrard will go down in history.
