Josemi moves to Villarreal

Josemi has completed his transfer to Villarreal, after an unsuccessful spell at Liverpool.

The deal sees Jan Kromkamp going the other way. Josemi has signed a four and half year deal,Speaking at a news conference in Spain, Josemi, 26, said: "Myself and my family are really happy to be returning.

"I’m thankful to Villarreal for giving me this chance.I wasn’t given all the chances I had hoped I would get at Liverpool. Now I want to recover the sort of form I showed when I played at Malaga."

Josemi made 35 appearances in a red shirt.
