Neill heading for Anfield?

Liverpool have made a £2million move for Lucas Neill, according to news reports this morning.
Neill has been linked with a move away from Rovers in the past, and after having a good world cup, some bigger clubs were alerted.
Lucas Neill is not the most popular figure with Liverpool fans after breaking Jamie Carragher's leg in 2003/2004 season, but if he shows the same determination he did in the world cup perhaps he could win a few of those fans over.
According to skysports, Rafa is after a new defender as back up, and Neill fits the bill as he can play anywhere in defence.
Pretty much every news/sport site is reporting that the reds have made a £2million bid for the Australian, however, nothing has been confirmed by Blackburn Rovers yet.
