In a rematch of the 2005 Champions League final, Liverpool will face AC Milan after the Italians beat Man Utd in the San Siro.

Kaka opened the scoring, then Seedorf added a second in the first half. With 10 mins to go, Gilardino made it 3, putting the game beyond doubt now.

Liverpool famously came from 3 down at half time against AC Milan in 2005 to win on penalties, and now face the Italians for the second time in 3 seasons in a final.

We’re there n so are Milan.. Its not gona be easy scoring 3 times against dem like we did previously, so we hav to play like neva before.. We hav to giv dem a run for their money.. We hav to be very physical.. Kaka must be closed down.. I certainly am glad its Milan n not Man Utd cos Fergie has a lot of luck against us.. And Milan know we are most focused n determined n hungry for it.. Dis is gona be another game to remember!

Recreativo Huelva have signed striker Florent Sinama-Pongolle from Liverpool, according to the club’s official website.

The 22-year-old has been on loan at the Primera Liga outfit since the start of the season and has scored 11 goals in the club’s unlikely push for a UEFA Cup place.

Within the loan deal was the option to sign Sinama-Pongolle permanently, which Recreativo have exercised at a cost of four million euros (£2.7m).

The France Under-21 international is now under contract until June 2011.

Club president Francisco Mendoza said: “Today is a very happy day for all those connected with Recreativo, as we have all waited for the moment of seeing Sinama as a member of the club.

“We have obtained him by putting in the most important financial push of this organisation in its 118-year history.”

Sinama-Pongolle was bought by Liverpool from Le Havre in 2001 along with his distant cousin Anthony Le Tallec, but the pair remained with Le Havre until the summer of 2003.

Neither could command a regular first-team place at Anfield and Pongolle spent the second half of last season on loan at Blackburn Rovers.

After sealing his move, Sinama-Pongolle said: “I would like to thank the club and the fans for the affection they have shown me since I arrived at Huelva.”

2nd loss in a row for the reds…if we didnt secure a CL spot id be worried ..but thankfully we have with a few games in hand and now we are in the final of the CL too so its not looking all bad.
With that said …when planning on putting out a very weak side..id rather we had some of the youngsters get a start instead of having bellamy upfront who missed two clear chances…el zhar could of started with robbie up front..he might of learnt a few things or two whilst playing with him…let the youngsters have a go at things and see how they shape up..funny enough we are going to play charlton next who also have a relegation battle going on …but still 10 losses through out the campaign is quite heavy to be honest…lets just hope we win the CL and also mount a serious title contention next season….players to get rid off : bellamy..sorry to say fowler and zenden too…bring in one striker and a winger and id think it would be settled…world class players that is !!
