Kewell no longer good enough at this level

Harry Kewell is no longer capable of competing at this level, and should not be offered a new contract at the end of the season.

When Kewell signed from Leeds, i thought it was a brilliant signing: a quality proven winger for just £5million and most importantly; left sided. He performed week in week out for Leeds, scoring top class goals, and i thought we were lucky to get him.

His first season, he didnt disappoint, but after a torrid time with injuries, and unbeleivable loyalty from Rafa, surely it is time to let Kewell go and give someone else a chance on the left.

At the Charlton game last season, he came on as a substitute, and looked like a new signing. He scored a penalty that day, but had some good runs and a rocket shot that blasted off the bar. Since then, he has been injured again, and made a short comeback in the reserves, a game i saw live, and he looked quality again, but maybe that was because he was against poorer opposition.

His time has been and gone now, he will never get the pace and constant fitness back, he looks like a liability in the team, surely someone like Babel or even Leto could be taking his place on the left?

I was always thought highly of Kewel… but his come back from his injury would really full the gap, but i cant say that he impressed me especialy last nights game…he was not attacking and he is short of pace and technique… i think that we should let him go and get Babel more games as he has the pace and can make good passes and get into the box….

KEWELL IS JUST TOSSING IT OFF AND EARNING HIS £60,000 A WEEK FOR DOING SWEET FA.

Cmon you cant question his technique but his pace yes…he can no longer beat a man on pace. Injuries have finally caught up with him. He should no longer be first choice but as a squad player.

Yes, Kewell might have lost his pace, but he is more intelligent than Babel and Leto.

Kewell has got a lot of Experience but thats not enough to win games…
I sorry but he doesnt look and feel right on the field….

But it not only him thats make the team win, it the entire unit and they dont look like they are enjoying playing the wonderful game of Footi

he has had his time like some other players in the squad aswell. make way for all the bloddy youth benitez signed!!!after all he is not interested in buying new quailty players.
