Michael Owen is set to do the unthinkable; join the Mancs after having previously made his name at Liverpool. One thing he can forget now is ever getting applauded at Anfield again when he turns out for them against us.
Owen is now out of contract after leaving Newcastle United, and overnight a move to Man Utd has emerged and he now looks set to sign on the dotted line, subject to a medical.
In Jamie Carragher’s book, he said how he was not happy how sections of the crowd booed Owen when playing for Newcastle at Anfield, however last season he got a decent round of applause from most of the fans – something that will never happen again.
Owen – You’re a scumbag, plain and simple. Any respect any Liverpool fan had left for you has now gone out the window. Regardless of what you ever did at Liverpool, the only things you will be remembered for are walking out on the club and joining the Mancs.

Just chill out will you, Owen is injury pron and will not last two month before he gets injuried again playing for the Manc’s. Liverpool will be in a better position in a few weeks time once all the the behind closed door signings are annouched.
All Liverpool supporters will be creaming themselves at the prospect of our future strike force! Villa and Torres maybe i wouldn’t put it past Liverpool to use the Alonso money (Said to se him leave) an slam this into one player.
I believe in Rafa and the clubs transformation has been evident to all to see over the past seasons. Yes we will loose Alonso but Villa and perhaps a squad player proven in the prem (Kevin Nolan, Mark Noble, Joe Cole even Reo-Coaker) just to fill the gap in the middle. With Villa Gerrard can drop back into middlefield and play along side Mascherano who will be given a better deal to stay at the club.
We must be positive, fuck Owen and his troubled past 4 seasons.
I cant believe owen has joined our bittest rivals i never, ever thought he would do that to us id love to see what reaction he will get when he returns 2 anfield i hope he gets boo’d the fcuking traitor! i hope rafa signs a top quality player coz we are in need of a striker c’mon rafa what is taking so long u manage to get in backroom staff QUICK why cant u do this with new players??????????????????? im gutted, gutted, gutted!
YNWA REDMAN 4 LIFE!
Owen had no choice than to join the Mancs, his options were to stay at Newcastle or join Hull. Ever since he left for Real Madrid his career has gone downhill, if you look at things realisticly he is a provan goalscorer yes but comes with a huge question mark regarding fitness and is he anywhere near the player who played for us the answer is no, there are far better younger players around for us to sign. I won’t be booing him but he made his bed now he has to sleep in it, micheal must allways regret leaving the best team in the world Liverpool FC.
He passed a stringent 2 day medical at Utd so his injuries may not be that much of an issue. Should score double figures if he gets the games.
fuck owen the wee wanker
He now once again proves what we have all always suspected!
Owen, you bloody traitor. Are you really that despairing?! We’ll see how many games Fergie will actually play you – I bet it will only be a handful. And if you are not the least bastard on the planet, I bet it will be hard for you to still look at yourself in the mirror. Well, money has no smell…
Scumbag!!!!! I hope the guy breaks a leg and never plays again. That might sound harsh but this fu*king mercenary has really shown his true colours this time. Ferguson knows what he’s doing and I wouldn’t be surprised if he only plays him against us!
Owen is now officially dead in my eyes now.
I believe if Liverpool approached Owen to sign, he would indeed do so over ManYoo. the problem is, Owen turned his back on Rafa when he arrived at the healm, in the belief he would win trophies at Real Madrid. How that came back to haunt him as we won CL in 2005 !!
Rafa im sure took that insultory (as you should!) and will never sign anyone that has turned him down once, even Owen. Rafa is strong by his convictions, which i guess will always help in the future that when Liverpool (under Rafa) come calling, it really is a once in a lifetime oppurtunity.
them having Owen will make their attack more predictable and our back line will lap it up should he play against us. If Fergie really believes this to be the answer in replacing Ronaldo and Tevez, hes very mistaken. he probably believes this to be a master stroke over Liverpool. in truth, i for one couldnt care less.
good luck to Owen, he has struggled to find happiness since leaving Liverpool (under the wrong reasons) and will continue to do so at the scum.
Some of the crap written about Michael Owen is sad – the guy scored goals for fun in a Red shirt and made sure on numerous occassions the season did not end up as “bare” as the last three have been.
Indeed Owen decided to leave probably too hastily and for all the wrong reasons after a brief initial meeting with dear old Rafa – for those with short memories this also nearly led to the departure of Stevie G.
Since then Owen’s career has gone to pot – now he will probably resurrect it succesfully at the other place due to the stubborn attitude of a certain individual. Owen was cheap and a proven goalscorer at every level.
Injury prone no doubt but it would have been well worth the risk – Owens pride would have been swallowed to come “home” – Rafa’s pride seems to be more important (to him) than the club.
Lets hope the worrying reports about Alonso and Masch is media trivia or we will have a damm sight more to worry about than hurling abuse at Owen twice a season.
Never mind if all else fails we can sign another full back
on this one i have to agree, with otley red.too many of you forget to easy. how well owen done for us.owen would run back to liverpool, if rafa called but rafa won,t he will not forgive him for going to madrid. its the same with alonso, he went to spain to be with his wife, while she was having a baby, and rafa asked him not to go but like most of us he went, then rafa tried to out him for barry. no wonder he wants out. i hate the mancs more than anyone, but you cannot blame owen, what would you do hull city, everton or man u?” rafa had his chance, i for one will not boo owen i remember how much we owe him , plus the goals he scored for us .we all have pride and respect owen will allways get that from me..
exactly mate i totally agree, i hate the manc shite but u cant blame owen !!!! what’s he supposed to do ? sit around and wait 4 a call from LFC that will never come !! i am really pissed off that we gonna miss out on a FREE proven PL goalscorer who’s also a LFC legend because of what happened 5 yrs ago. i really really hope rafa has an ace up his sleeve 4 us
The more he gave us the more he will take from us going to fockin unated.cannot accept that sry:((((((((((((((((((((((((
