Rafa to give Dirk a rest

Rafael Benitez says Dirk Kuyt could be in line to be given some time off from playing to rest, in a bid to help the Dutchman recapture his goalscoring form.
Dirk has been getting more game time than anyone recently; something Rafa has been keeping an eye on and is looking to help Liverpool’s number 18 out : “We have had some players who have had to play too many games this season and that is a consequence of the injuries”
“But I’m sure that if we have some more players we will be able to manage in a different way and give the ones who need it some rest, so they will be fresh for the next match. Dirk has played too many games, we know this.
“He could have had a little break against Fiorentina but N’gog was ill and we needed to play him. But we know Dirk will get back to his levels, for sure.
“He is an amazing player, his work rate is fantastic and we can see that because we are watching all their statistics. He is always one of the players who runs the most during a match but we want him to have a rest if he can because I think that will help improve his game.

Well you can tell its christmas when rafa decided to drop Kuyt. Can I get a new years present also and get him and lucas shipped out.

Same as scouse you watch us be unbeaten over the xmas period without dirk shyt in the side rafa should be doing the same with lucas in my view lucas and kuyt should never be in the first team there both utter crap lets hope we sign at least 2 players in jan happy xmas and happy new year guys ill be back boxing day with posts after the wolves game which i hope will be 3 pts for us anything less then well judge 4 yourself!

We should not rely on a single player every time.Its obvious in any game to get hurted,at that time the player must take rest.Instead its better to encourage the other one who ia playing.
