Which Striker would you like to see Liverpool go for?

Liverpool have been linked with the likes of Marouane Chamakh, Kenwyne Jones & Emile Heskey during this transfer window; but who do you think Rafa Benitez should try and sign?
We’d all like to see David Villa lining up alongside Torres; but realistically it’s never going to happen.
Who do you think should be our number 1 target in the search for another striker?
Please note: any suggestions of Kevin Davies from Bolton will be laughed at; there’s a reason why he’s at Bolton battling relegation – he’s sh*t.
I agree with the kevin davies admin he is utter crap i dont know much about chamakh heskey is NO he is no better than kevin davies im not so sure about kenwyne jones either i cant believe we have lowered our targets to these apart from chamakh but the striker id like to see come to us in this window who is free and thats ruud van nistelrooy why not? he got bundles of PL experience he could get u atleast 15 goals a season barring injuries he’d be much better than what we got now with ngog & kuyt if we dont get a striker in id like to see pacheco playing a lot more games because this guy has got bags and bags of talent he is the complete player pace,skill,strengh and he will score u goals if he’s given more playing time not just 5-10 mins here and there! rafa get ur finger out of ur stubborn arse and sign a quality striker!
yes we all know what kevin davies is, admin but what abouy kuyt? he,s shite too as is lucas, yet i never hear the admin talk about them. rafa is crap too yet the admin back him too, alls fair when things are even we asked for a poll on here ages ago, yet admin refused to do one. not a word from you, yet were on your site you are too one sided you, are surrposed to be neutral but your not aer you? because if you were we would of had a vote by now. what good is a site if its one sided? are views should be listened too. all other sites have had poles why have we been not given one? its easy calling players of other teams crap is,t it? but try on your own door step first.. because we have many…
Instead of Kevin Davies or Kenwyne Jones ,how about Klaas-Jan Huntelaar who’s available on-loan from A C Milan
good shout that jan huntelaar, good player everythink kuyt is,t. one player i think we could do with is vincente he,s 28 now has had a lot of injuries, and his pace is not what it was. but he has skill can pass, and score and he has a brain. a thing many of are players lack ive watched him for years at valencia still a good player and avaliable on loan. in the middle i would have senna better than lucas will ever be, mancini is avalable on loan too. as for a striker well theres only one villa…
i would play pacheco, ecclestone up front,(if rafa does not sign a quality striker this month on loan ie benzema) they are young, hunger, they no each others game, they have a great partnership in the reserves, both can score goals and they will surprise, shock afew teams, defenders because they are not big names, un-proven in the EPL…. at the moment.
the only way to find out if pacheco, ecclestone can cut it in the EPL, is by playing them, giving them a 5/10 game run.
Kevin Davies, Kenwynne Jones, Emile Heskey – can it really get an lower than this.

Good post rouman i agree we need a petition to get out the useless twat but it isnt going to happen i can only hope we dont finish 4th and then maybe rafa will walk or get sacked coz we cant gone on like this,even westham have got new owners now and here we are the eastenders of sitcom football club cant even attract new investment its an absoulote shambles! the only way we will go forward is by getting rid of rafa then the owners if i had a choice id say get rid of rafa first he’s the one doing the most damage to this club in the way we are performing on the pitch and the crap he signs etc,etc….. According to the LFC website the kenwyne jones deal has collapsed thank god he isnt worth the 10m we was reported to pay now we are after serb striker milan jovanovic who would be the better option as he wouldn’t cost us anything as he would be free in the summer but we all know the last player we had called milan but hopefully he would give us options if we was to get him but this is LFC we will see id like us to sign ruud another target rafa is to stubborn to get and missed out on as harry wants him but thats rafa all over isnt it? i hope he plays pacheco 2moro but again we have rafa in charge who doesnt know how to go out on the attack!!! tough game 2moro!!!! if we lose rafa needs to resign after the game!!!
yes kev jones is not worth 10mil, not a bad player but we need better. you mention milan baros well he was,t that bad better than kuyt. infact i was never a fan of cissie but he scored 18 goals and hardly played. rafa should of kept him and sold kuyt,

Aquillani warms the bench, Maxi is also on the bench Pacheco etc Rafa will play Maxi in Mascherano’s Position in case he is injured and he will blame him for not being good and drop him next time. Aquillani is now gets minutes on the pitch only when Mascherano is injured or suspended. Is Aqullani Masch’s substitute or what?.
Trust me even if we brought in Villa Rafa will put him on the bench as he watches Kuyt and Lucas F****k up all our games.
I’m genuinely interested in our scouting system. We never hear anything about it. However we always seem to buy in , meaning from abroad. I think Keane might have been our last signing from within the UK. Years ago our scouts unearthed Kevin Keegan, Ray Clemence from Scunthorpe. They had little experience but Shanks had faith and put them in and how well they repaid him and the club.
hi george are scouting system has changed like most other teams, we have a large team. some cover south america, others do africa, and europe. we have a italian, french, spanish, and english scouts. the trouble with english young players is that they want too much money at the start. and if a club say like crewe sign them then when crewe sell them on theywant silly money. but i agree somethink has to be done.

my choice would be a loan deal for BENZEMA, from madrid. he would be a great signing, he would be the ideal striker to cover for torres, who is out injured and when torres is fit, them two up front will be awesome. he is on the bench alot for madrid and with the WC this summer, benzema wants to play games. unhappy on the bench.
benzema signing for LFC will lift the players,( keep sg, torres happy), give the fans/club a massive lift and rafa will get one over Fergie, who loves benzema.

So the news today is that rvn has joined hamburg on an 18 month deal and it was a freebie im gutted coz he could of done the job 4 us no problem at all but thats us all over just to slow we could of got him we could of got him to take a pay cut he would of jumped at the chance to come back to the PL and play 4 us, lets hope rumours are true that we may get huntelaar on loan he could be the missing piece in the jigsaw but we’ll see still 10 days to go in this window fingers crossed a striker comes in or pacheco starts playing more! ha! we’ll see!
its been said man city, will offer 100mil for torres next season. well in my opinion no player is worth that money, but if the offer came in would lfc turn it down? well as torres is becoming a injury prone player, should we cash in? every player has his price a 100mil is a lot of money, we could buy villa, mata, and silva and still have change. i donot want torres to go but 100mil is a lot of money, and we know how greedy the yanks are for money. but it could all come down to torres, he has said he does not want to go anywere. we will have to wait and see on this one maybe finishing 4th will have a new meaning…

Liverpool FC is a Top Club, and the owners must continue to invest in top players. Torres is a great player, but he is only one man. 25 million for Villa and a league Title! I will take it. Look at all the other crap players we’ve spent money on, enough to buy Villa, Silva, etc.. Buy the sure proven quality!!! player. You get what you pay for ie:- Torres!

Is this right lads? Just been Reading up on rafa & the news is saying that juventis is after him ? Hope its true. On another note, torres, well I’m the same I wouldn’t want him 2 go either but he is becoming injury prone & all of the above player named could win us the prem next season amongst everything else but it’s really up 2 the arseholes players don’t really have a say x

well this will be my last write up, till i get back from my hoilday. what i have heard if we don,t make 4th rafa will walk. he has as much said we will make 4th, so thats why juv are sniffing around. plus its well known rafa has wanted to work in italy, there are problems thoe his wife, and children do not want to leave. in the end it will be down to rafa, because the yanks won,t sack him i think he will go even if he gets 4th. because like us he knows he cannot take us to the next level, for whatever reason he can,t. and the rumours will not go away till the summer when for me the season starts for most of us.. well enjoy the cold i am off to egypt for a week lets hope we beat wolves…
