I am not sure if the recent upturn in fortunes coincides exactly with Glenn Johnsons last game or maybe it’s a little more coincidental than I give it credit for.

We need a win tonight and we are due one against Arsenal at their patch – let’s hope we don’t have an attack of Paella Brain management before the team selection.

How ya doing rouman have u seen on LFC website today coz according to them milan jovanovic has agreed terms with us to join in the summer for free on a 3 yr deal with an option of an extra year i cant say ive seen him play alot only on you tube and against everton but apart from that not much i wont judge him until we see him in the PL im just crossing my fingers and pray he isnt another voronin! because we cant afford to keep making these mistakes,and on another good note rouman its rumoured an indian billionaire is interested in investing in LFC but are only rumours so far he’s 4x richer than abramovich and twice as rich as the dude at citeh he is the 7th richest man in the world! nothing is gonna happen until those fucking cowboy yanks drop the asking price the greedy bastards! they are asking to much and the pricks wont budge i fucking hate people like that dont you?! to the game tonight i have a feeling we will win rouman i say 2-1 to us gerrard and maxi to score his first goal for us YNWA

hello george,yes the german fullback was not a bad player and i was a bit surrprized, but we have so many kids we cannot keep them all. i am in london now its freezing but sunny,looking forward to tonights game i just hope we get somethink from it. aqulani is out due to stomach bug, arse will throw everythink at us so tonight will be the defence,s toughest night. try iraq goals on line they do most games live. my god i hate winter if we had a better climate i would never leave here. even the summers are crap still we have liverpool, and for me thats what makes it perfect..

Good on you Rouman, I wish I could be there but will try to find some way of watching from Oz (I don’t have cable tv so if anyone knows a trusted site I would be really grateful!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!). You’re right about us doing things the hard way. I really don’t know why.Even last year (and I know we threw away some stupid points against lowly teams) we were much more fluent than we are this year. My hope is for Rafa to go (even though the club owes him a huge debt of gratitude for Istanbul if nothing else), and for us to promote the Pach’s, Nemeths of the club. I think you were away when Butchmann went. What didi you think of that?? A lot of us on here were not impressed!!

yes now we have beat the blues, its time for arse. i have got a ticket for the game, and its going to be a tough game. if i am honest the best we will get is a draw, we don,t have the firepower to score goals. the defence is doing well but as arse play the ball around, and not in the air, are defenders will be in for a big night. as arse have lost to the mancs, and chelsea they will not want to lose to us. its not going to be for the faint hearted i still think there will be many ups and downs for most teams, including us. we never do things the easy way do we..

How ya doing j.b/otley/rouman and george,i agree with what you say jb and otley your spot on that rafa still has to go in the summer even if we finish 3rd/4th we just cant afford another season like this next year something has to give and it must start with rafa going first then the yanks id love to see hiddink,kenny d or mourinho here next season id love it!

Now who saw the arsenal v’s chelsea game yesterday???? i couldnt help but laugh at jamie playboy of football redknapp who saw him after the game when drogba hit crossbar with his free kick redknapp said “he’s hit that shot with the side of his foot” “how did he get so much power on it” then he said again “i dont know how he does it” is he really that pathetic!!!!

That was my lfc with our trade mark of a fighting spirit. If we can beat the hell out of the gooners then i think we can confidently talk of 4th place.
RB should also start being impressive so that he can get a nice team in the summer after he has left.

sat was our luckiest day esp with results from our competitors. Now we should get our confidence back i miss the 4-0 of last season.

Great to see an all round improvement

It’s absolutely imperative we get 4th place at least – for the credibility of the club, the cash it will generate and to reward the patience of the fans.

It’s also absolutely imperative that Benitez goes in the summer if we ever want to win the title.
