50 Reasons why Chelsea are after Torres

We’ve all seen the news that Chelsea tried to sign Fernando Torres, and that a bid was rejected by the club, but despite claims that he has been out of form, here are 50 reasons why they are after our star striker.

Torres has been a goalscoring machine since arriving at Anfield in January 2007, in his first season he surprised everyone with his goalscoring exploits. Enjoy his first 50 goals below:

    Why would a club with no debts now be interested in selling one of the best strikers in the world.

    All we are looking for is some few more Torres out there from clubs that badly need money and we will be done.

    If not even the greedy careless Yanks could sale him i wonder who should.

    The owners are the last people to have any reason for selling Torres.

    Why would Liverpool sell? Torres is a good player that has made an embarrasement of players like drogba,rooney and a large part of the chelsea squad. This is why chelsea want to buy him. Those chelsea owners should shut they’re trap!!! If torres left liverpool he would be a traitor for going to a liverpool rival. He should go abroad. But really he shouldnt go anywhere he should stay anfield. When liverpool WILL get back into the CHAMPIONS LEAGUE, Torres should be happy again. Chelsea have a strong squad but Torres could help build liverpool into a strong or even stronger team than chelsea.

    You say ‘Never trust a yank’ but just try saying the same sentence with the word ‘Black’ instead of ‘Yank’ and you’ll see how racist it is. Worth thinking about topscout!

    The new owners have just stumped up for the club, for our previous debts and now £23 million for Suarez so what is not to trust? They immediately announced Torres wasn’t for sale so turned down £35 million at a stroke. They resonate to fans who wanted Hodgson out and King Kenny in.

    Just don’t show Chelski the clips of him this season. (apart from his 2 goals against them of course :D ). IF Torres does go for 50m then that is some great business. He isn’t worth that. I still can’t see him going though, but i may be wrong.
