Aquilani Staying With Liverpool

Alberto Aquilani looks set to stay at Anfield after his agent revealed that he expects the Italian midfielder to remain at Liverpool FC this season.

 

The 28-year-old returned to Liverpool after spending last season on loan at AC Milan who opted not to take up their option to make the move permanent.

 

Speaking to calciomercato.com, the player’s agent Franco Zavaglia said: “He’ll play for Liverpool.

 

“There is little to say about leaving AC Milan, the season is over and he’ll put that behind him.

 

“Alberto is back in England and is still a Liverpool player. He will play there next season.”
