lfc_homeshirt_201012Benfica today in the second leg of the Europa League quarter-finals is almost certainly the most important story of the day, but that doesn’t mean stories about the new Liverpool kit should be kicked to the curb!

The club unveiled their new kit for the upcoming season yesterday with a new look and sponsor for the upcoming campaign. Next year could be the first time Liverpool has played in a European competition other than the Champions League, and if that’s that case, they’ll be doing so with Standard Chartered splashed across their chest.

untitled Searching the interwebz for porn football shirts can sometimes bring up some very interesting results.

Type “Liverpool 2010/2011 kits” into your search engine and you’re bound to get all kinds of crazy results. Whilst some boards have been discussing the shirts for months now, it looks like we may well have a final design (or a damn good knockoff) of what the three kits could look like next year.

Take a look at them and make your own call on if these are really the kits for next year. I’ve come to the realisation that whilst they’re not that bad, I do have a problem with them coming out with a Champions League kit.

Seriously, are they trying to jinx the club? We’re a point behind Tottenham with eight games remaining, and someone’s got the gall to just assume we’ll be back there next season! (I kid, I kid).
