Aquilani is a talented midfielder and should never have been "loaned" in the first place. He should be available for any new manager to utilise in next season's team. AC Milan have used almost Mafiosa tactics in this debacle. The arrogance of their negotiators is astounding. Where is the Liverpool pride that they do not turn around to these people and tell them to go elsewhere for cheap , underhand dealings? They should be shown the door in no uncertain terms. Aquilani will do nicely under the right manager!

AVB would be the best option for Liverpool! I hope FSG make the right decision and offer him the post! What is annoying though is that they have made no attempt to persuade Guardiola to come to Liverpool - he could have been persuaded!

I would prefer AVB because he had shown his capability during his tenure at Porto. Though it did not really work at Stamford Bridge, it was not the players of his choice. He was inheriting Ancelloti's. Hence, if he were given a chance at Liverpool with more independent in transfer market and backroom, I am confident that he will do well.

Those shifty Italians up to their old tricks to get him in the cheap or not pay a fee at all. I can't believe no ne wants this guy. We should stop loaning him out and keep him until his contract is up or someone comes in with a decent offer whether or not Aqua wants to l,ay with us or not . LFC have to make a stance.

KK,s big problem was he spent money on players who gave us no return and then to prove a point kept playing Hendersom/Downing and even Caroll. He may have been given a longer rope but he refused to admit that his signings were crap, that was his downfall and also the fact we finished 8th and he stilled called it a good eseason
