Comolli: Henderson figures are incorrect

Damien Comolli has said that none of the figures quoted in the press over the transfer have been accurate, and that Liverpool paid a fee they are ‘comfortable with’.

There has been talk of the deal costing up to £20million, or £13million with David Ngog going to Sunderland, however Comolli said none of the figures are true: “On the fee, I’ve read and heard a lot of things. There was a lot of speculation on how much we would pay for Jordan and none of the figures I’ve seen are correct so far. We’ve paid a price that we are comfortable with, otherwise we would not have done the deal.”

At first I was against the fact of getting a player with no European experience , unestablished player and with that price tag !
However according to what king kenny is saying is about him , he is very mature and has a lot of potential and may as well be Gerrard’s replacement .and the last thing is that he didn’t cost us that much ….David Ngog didnt go the other way meaning that we just paved about 13mil which is really reasonable for a very young ad promising player .

If there’s one thing kenny knows its talent. Remember this is the man who brought Aldridge from oxford, Barnes from watford and when he was at title winning blackburn, a young talent called shearer. For those not old enough to remember, have faith in the king, he knows his stuff. As for commoli, bale to tottenham anybody? The point is don’t worry about the price and be glad that we are getting the players we want instead of a dozen 5 mill players
