Kuyt the hero as Liverpool beat Manchester United 2-1 to progress in the FA Cup

Kuyt was the Hero today with a 88th minute winner to put Liverpool into the Quarter Finals of the FA Cup.  The game ended 2-1 and the result seemed so bitter sweet for Luis Suarez who watched had to watch on from the sidelines serving his 7th match ban after the racial incident against Evra in their last encounter.

It’s been a great week for Liverpool after beating Manchester City in the league cup semi-final midweek and now beating arch rivals Manchester United in the FA Cup. Lets hope Liverpool can carry some of this team spirit and form into their next Premier League match.

    a brilliant perfomance from all even suarez was enjoying himself lol
    i wrote a little song down hope u all like it
    tune from the grand ol’ duke of york;
    oh there was a man from scots,he had 10 million fans
    he marched them up to the top of the league
    and he brought back all the glory
    and when we won the prem
    we won the fa cup
    we took the p… of old whisky breath and they all fell down the drain

    Good on you Julie (but don’t give up your daytime job!!). Two brilliant victories in four days but now comes the next potential banan skin – Wolves away. We will not forget our visit to Bolton and what happened there! For all the Cup `glory’, our football club MUST MUST beat the likes of Bolton and Wolves.
