LFC Chalkboards: How did Flanagan do against Man City?
John Flanagan made his debut at right back against Man City after Martin Kelly and Glen Johnson were ruled out injured, and the 18 year old local lad barely put a foot wrong all game. We have chalkboard analysis of his performance in the 3-0 win at Anfield.
Flanagan got the nod at 6pm, just 2 hours before kick off and was guided through the game by Jamie Carragher, but he didn’t let the occasion get the better of him, and even managed a great turn on Dzeko in the 73rd minute. Here’s the breakdown of his performance, with the chalkboards thanks to Guardian chalkboards

Hopefully we’ll see more of him this season, where he can build on last night’s performance.
