Liverpool defender Insua seals transfer

Liverpool left back Emiliano Insua has left the club and sealed a transfer to Sporting Lisbon.

This transfer should come as no surprise since he hadn’t been given a squad number this season.

Personally I thought Insua showed a lot of promise a couple of seasons ago, especially when going forward. But with the arrival of Jose Enrique he wouldn’t have seen much playing time at all.

We’d like to wish Emiliano Insua all the best for the future.
