Liverpool FC vs Manchester City : Probable Line Up and Predictions

The Reds begin their first home game of the season against Premier League Champions Manchester City on Sunday, 26th August 2012. Daniel Agger is on a red card and will not feature against Manchester City. The good news is full back Jose Enrique could be fit in time to partner with Glen Johnson at the back. New signing Assaidi is expected to make his premier league debut replacing Borini from the left midfield after the Italian completed 90 minutes against Hearts for the Europa League Tie on Thursday. New on loan signing Nuri Sahin will be watching from the stands but will not feature as he will not be registered in time. His debut will ironically come against Arsenal.

Manchester City

Argentine striker Sergio Aguero is set to miss the game after he sustained a knee injury last weekend and could remain on the sideline for a number of weeks.Edin Dzeko or Italian maverick Mario Balotelli are the likely replacements to teamed up with Carlos Tevez for the attack. Midfielder Gareth Barry and defender Micah Richards are also expected sit out out for the tie.

Manchester City (Possible, 4-2-3-1): Hart, Zabaleta, Kompany, Lescott, Clichy, Toure, Rodwell, Silva, Tévez, Nasri, Dzeko

Out: Aguero (knee), Barry (abdominal), Richards (ankle)

    For me personally, sterling is a wonderkid and i am sure that he will make us wonder.. So for me, sterling should play the second half at the mythical stadium of anfield road…..
