Liverpool officially announce 2nd biggest kit deal in world football

Liverpool have today officially announced the much talked about kit deal with Warrior Sport. The deal is worth a total of £150million over a six year contract. The £25million a year deal is now the second largest in world football and is only beaten by Barcelona’s £26.3million a year deal with Nike. Fans will be happy to know the Liverpool deal is £1.5million a year better than Manchester United current deal with Nike.

Warrior Sports are a Boston based company which should go along way in us expanding our support base in the United States. The rumoured summer US tour will likely be followed by a large marketing campaign to expand the Liverpool brand in the United States.

The new deal is twice as large as the previous deal with Adidas of £12 million per year. So the club really seems to be going in the right direction with the new owners, with a new stadium also confirmed in recent days.
