Liverpool rumoured to be trying to seal deal for £40m striker before window shuts

Liverpool have today again been linked to Napoli’s star striker Edinson Cavani. The £40 million rated striker could be seen as the ideal partner for Luis Suarez, who would surely be able to persuade the fellow Uraguian striker to join him at Liverpool.

What a partnership Suarez and Cavani would be and his arrival would put extra pressure on Andy Carroll to perform if he wants to see much game time.

Cavani has managed to score an impressive 51 goals in 72 appearances for Napoli and could be a huge asset for Liverpool since they have only managed 25 goals in 22 premier league games this season as they try and strive for champions league qualification.

    cavani is the perfect striker liverpool can ever have …since he is strong and powerful in the 18 yard field ..and the main problem for liverpoll is that there is no one in the team have the ability to continue the ball inside the goal when the ball is in the 18 yard field .. so my dream and all liverpool dream is to have this player before the market is closed…so  I wish kenny should put his efforts to bring him..

    This deal all depepnds on carlos tevez if he signs for ac milan , antonio cassano of milan has been linked to nappoli which would maybe free up cavani for liverpool and maybe andy carrol ofloaded then we could see a dominoe effect of madness everywher!!!

    Cavani is truly a great player to begin with, it would be a dream to have him at Liverpool. More or less, this might be just another rumours. what matters now is that we need a fast paced(exciting) winger and also a good target man up front. LUC DE JONG(target man) is certainly a great player. He is fast and really is good in the air.

    That would be a good signing, the thing is I don’t really understand why the hell Kenny would even let Andy Carrol play, he is good for nothing but yet he let him play and make the team play as if they are playing with 10 men.

    im astrong liverpool fan from ug.4sure we need astong striker like the Napoli star 2 partner Suarez inorder 4us 2 be the strongest inthe E P L.4 ma case a mini striker like Carol, idont count them.
