Rodgers: Carroll might be loaned out

Brendan Rodgers has cast further doubt on Andy Carroll’s Liverpool future, after the boss admitting that he would consider letting striker Andy Carroll go out on loan

“It’s something I would have to look at, I have to be honest,” Reds boss Rodgers said when asked if Carroll could be heading for the exit door.

“I’m not going to sit here and say I will never let anyone go on loan, then come in here in two weeks and a player’s gone, and you’re saying ‘you said you wouldn’t let them go’.

“There are many things to going on loan. Is it going to be beneficial for the club, that’s the most important thing?

“Sometimes a player going out on loan – in general, not just Andy – can benefit the club in the long term.

Carroll has been linked with a loan move to West Ham United after Co-Owner David Gold says the club would be interested in Liverpool’s Andy Carroll if he became available.

NOOOOOO! BR shows a shocking talent for man-mis-management suggesting to loan out a player who’s not yet back from vacation, and one who actually had a descent Euro scoring superb goal and putting himself about in defensive minded Englan team. Dempsey for Carrol, if that’s the plan of BR he should share the crop he’s smoking.

Why the hell would you lend a current England striker to one of your rivals?when your club has no cover in that position. Madness ! but then again nothing Liverpool does these days surprises me..
