    I’d go for the Istanbul one, as it’s a bit different from the goals he usually scores. Having watched that one a thousand or so times already, I still think every time I watch it again that he will miss the ball because he has jumped too early but he just stands still in mid-air to head home. Amazing goal.

    the one against olympiakos was fantastic so late in the game as well, without it there would have been no istanbul!

    I believe Gerrard has grown to be an icon in his carrier.The match against merseille was just it for Gerrard. The goal from Gerrard is next to no other.Liverpool is in no doubt in their best this season. Premiership and championship are for us this season.
