Turkish teenager Altunay joins Liverpool

Liverpool Football Club have handed a contract to Turkish midfielder Emin Altunay after the youngster won a Turkish reality television show.

The 16 year old won a competition Futbol Prensi – or Prince of Football, in his home country which allowed youngsters between the ages of 14 and 16 to demonstrate their talent.

He said “I’ve been playing football since I was four years old. I’ve always wanted to play football, I want to thank everyone who has given me this opportunity, I won’t let them down”

Altunay played against Liverpool youth XI during his televised trial and will now fly over to England to join the Merseyside club.

    that is nice. him and samed yesil and usama assaidi shall terrorise the epl one day. defenders would need to put on guard against them. they are really good. All praise be to Allah.
